WHAT WE DID
Camberwell Bathroom
Our clients wanted a complete renovation of their main bathroom to modernise the space while keeping within a budget. The goal was to create a guest-friendly bathroom that retained the classic charm of their 1920s Art Deco home.
The design presented some challenges, particularly in blending modern elements with the existing architectural features. We tackled this by focusing on the Art Deco style, choosing chrome fittings and herringbone marble tiles honouring the home’s original character. Heated bluestone floor tiles in the same pattern added both warmth and continuity.
We introduced hidden directional lighting and a sleek stone benchtop paired with a smooth Corian basin to give the space a modern twist. The bathroom’s fresh colour palette allowed the classic chrome accents to stand out, ensuring the space felt both contemporary and timeless.
